Modern license-free spread spectrum data radios
avoid the continuing expenses associated with cellular, telephone or licensed radio solutions. Additionally, they offer excellent reliability
and speed, but they must be installed with proper attention to signal attenuation due to foliage, path length, cable losses
and fresnel-zone reflections. Carlisle Consulting utilizes both computer modeling and onsite physical testing to ensure overall
system performance.
Computer modeling allows our engineers to make a "GO or NO-GO"
evaluation of the feasibility of establishing radio communication between two points based on the USGS coordinates of the
proposed sites. When the computer generated path indicates that a link is viable (as show upper right,) follow-up test
on site is performed to determine the required antenna and tower combination needed to accurately transmit your data
